Diligent's Chief Financial Officer Michael Stanton recently accepted the 'Investor of the Year' award, which recognizes key foreign investors, at the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) awards ceremony. HIPA acknowledges the creation of jobs that generate significant added value and require the highest professional knowledge, which positively impacts the Hungarian GDP. To date, Diligent has successfully recruited nearly half of its target of product and engineering professionals at its Center for Global Product Innovation in Budapest and is well on track to securing more than 300 new hires.
The New York-headquartered leading technology company won the 2021 'Investor of the Year' award based on the impact that its newly-founded Center for Global Product Innovation will have on the local economy. By providing a high volume of jobs and fostering the growth of a highly skilled workforce, Diligent's Hungarian-based operations will help boost economic outcomes on a local and national scale.
